The ER@P Program - Eastside Rangatahi at the Park

This program aims to support Rangatahi aged 11-17 in low-deprivation Eastside communities by promoting leadership, creativity, and active play. It encourages young people to showcase their talents through sports, dance, and creative activities, empowering them and their whānau to build a stronger, safer community. The program focuses on reducing bullying, theft, and violence while promoting fitness, fun, and Hauora (well-being). It provides a safe, supervised space for after-school activities like netball, basketball, and multisport, helping Rangatahi connect, stay active, and reduce screen time. Community feedback highlights its importance for fostering wellness, social connections, and positive play.

To become a young leader or volunteer to support the ER@P program please contact our youth coordinator today.
